My School Life

My name is Li Hua. I am from Class 1, Grade 7.

With the "Double Reduction" policy ("双减"政策) coming out, students start a new school life.

Now a 12-year-old girl, Song Meimei, from Siyuan Middle School doesn't need to get up so . At 7:00, she eats an egg, some bread and milk for breakfast at home. After that, she  to school by bike at 7:30.

The  class starts at 8:00. Song Meimei has four classes in the morning, and  is her favourite subject. She thinks it's difficult but . At 11:45, she has lunch at school. The food is very delicious and healthy. After that, she and her classmates take a  in the classroom for half an hour. In the afternoon, she has only two . After school, there are many interesting clubs now. Song Meimei is good at  out stories and she likes to draw too. So she is in two clubs—the drama club and the art club.

Students in Song Meimei's school now can  their homework at school because they have the new after-school service. So they are happy to have  free time to do fun things.

Dear Jenny, 

I am very busy on Friday. At 8:00 a. m. , I have maths. It is not fun. The teacher says it is useful, but I think it is difficult. Then at 9:00 a. m. , I have science. It is difficult but interesting. At 10:00 a. m. , I have history. 

After that, I have PE at 11:00 a. m. It is easy and fun. Lunchtime is from 12:00 p. m. to 1:00 p. m. and after that we have Chinese. It is my favourite subject. Our Chinese teacher, Mrs Wang, is great fun. My classes finish at 1:50 p. m. But after that I have an art lesson for two hours. It is really relaxing!
